Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) in Speech-Language Pathology Prior experience working in school settings or with school-aged children is preferred Strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with teachers, families, and other support staff Ability to adapt therapy materials to meet students' individual educational needs Commitment to maintaining thorough documentation and following ethical guidelines
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language screenings, assessments, and evaluations for students Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to address communication goals Deliver direct and consultative SLP services in one-on-one and group settings Collaborate with teachers and families to integrate strategies into the classroom Document student progress and maintain compliance with school and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions Inspire growth and communication breakthroughs while enjoying the collaborative spirit of a vibrant school environment.
