Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity working as a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCC designation, where your skills will empower students to achieve success both academically and personally. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Active or eligible state SLP license Prior experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations is highly valued Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate seamlessly with teachers, parents, and support staff Excellent verbal and written communication abilities Ability to organize workload and manage time efficiently in a dynamic school environment
Responsibilities and Duties:
Conduct evaluations to identify students' speech, language, or communication needs Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) and therapy plans Provide direct and consultative services for students with a variety of speech and language disorders Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and success Keep accurate records of assessments, sessions, and progress reports in accordance with school and legal standards Participate in IEP meetings, team conferences, and school-based initiatives as required Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and continually update clinical knowledge
