Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students' communication and language development as a speech-language pathologist in a dynamic school environment near Prattville, AL. This contract position offers the chance to make a lasting difference by providing both therapy and evaluations to caseloads that are thoughtfully capped at 60 students. Multiple openings are available, with assignments spanning both single and split locations, allowing you to experience diverse settings and collaborate with dedicated school teams.

Qualifications:

Hold a current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Possess or be eligible for Alabama Educator SLP Certification (may begin with pending cert) School-based experience preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds considered Comfort working across elementary through high school populations Strong evaluation, therapy planning, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver speech and language therapy to students in assigned schools Conduct comprehensive evaluations to inform IEPs and support student success Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers, parents, and administrators Maintain timely and accurate records and participate in meetings as required Rotate between assigned campuses, managing schedules efficiently with a total caseload not exceeding 60
