Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding school-based assignment serving students in grades 3 through 6 in a supportive educational environment. This contract opportunity allows you to make a real difference as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist, working with an engaged caseload at an established intermediate school. With a compact workweek of two days (15 hours per week), you'll have time to balance your professional responsibilities with personal pursuits, while fostering students' communication skills and academic success.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Valid SLP licensure with
ABESPA AL SLP
Certification and/or
AL SLP DOE
Certification (willing to consider candidates actively obtaining one and currently holding the other) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous experience in a school setting strongly preferred Expertise working with elementary and middle-grade students, focusing on language, articulation, social communication, and literacy skills Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration abilities
Key Responsibilities:
