Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state license or eligibility to obtain an Arkansas SLP license Proven experience working with children or school-aged youth Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, families, and colleagues Familiarity with IEP development, documentation, and progress monitoring

Key Responsibilities:

Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in K-12 students Create individualized treatment plans based on student needs and IEP goals Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate and timely records of assessments, session notes, and communications Participate in student evaluations, multidisciplinary team meetings, and professional development activities Provide guidance and resources to school staff and families to foster communication development This contract assignment offers the chance to work in a nurturing environment and make a lasting difference in students lives, while enjoying the recreational, cultural, and wellness perks of the Hot Springs National Park area.
