Desired Skills & Qualifications:
Active Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly within a school setting Knowledge of developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseloads efficiently and adapt to varying student needs Hold or qualify for state licensure relevant to school-based SLP positions
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in school-aged children Develop individualized therapy plans tailored to each student's unique needs Collaborate with educators, caregivers, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining compliance with educational standards Participate in IEP meetings, providing input and progress updates to families and staff Employ engaging therapy techniques and utilize current assistive technologies Support the educational goals of the district while maintaining professional standards
