Job Description

Step into an engaging contract opportunity supporting K-8 students as a Speech Language Pathologist in an onsite educational setting. This full-time role (32 hours/week, Monday through Thursday) offers a fulfilling school-year schedule, running from August 2026 through May 2027. Youll work with a diverse caseload of 60-70 students, with a variety of service delivery models including consults, groups, self-contained, and cross-categorical environments. The district also provides a full-time SLPA, opening the position to either a supervising SLP or a clinician seeking a traditional SLP assignment.
Required Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech Language Pathology Arizona SLP License in good standing Arizona Department of Education Certificate ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Experience with K-8 student populations beneficial Commitment to excellence in both direct therapy and collaborative consultation
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and tailored intervention for communication disorders Maintain detailed documentation and write progress reports for all assigned students Collaborate closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Supervise a full-time SLPA, offering mentoring and clinical oversight (if applicable) Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary educational planning Support students across consult, group, and self-contained settings
