Desired Experience & Qualifications:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in California ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Prior experience working in school-based or pediatric settings preferred Strong knowledge in assessment, intervention, and caseload management for diverse student populations Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills Ability to develop IEPs and collaborate with educational professionals and families
Responsibilities:
Provide direct therapy services to students with speech, language, and communication needs Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine eligibility and develop effective treatment plans Maintain accurate records, documentation, and progress reports according to district and state guidelines Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Advocate for best practices and individualized support for every student
