Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding journey working with students for the 2026-2027 school year as a Speech Language Pathologist in a vibrant school environment near Hoopa, CA. This full-time contract opportunity focuses on supporting K-12 students' communication needs, helping them thrive academically and socially. The role is open to both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). You'll join a dedicated educational team, making a genuine impact in students' lives while broadening your professional experience. What we're looking for: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Eligible for or active CA Speech-Language Pathology license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply School-based SLP experience or interest in working within a school setting Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload with varying needs Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills In this position, your responsibilities will include: Providing assessment, diagnosis, and therapy services to K-12 students with speech/language needs Developing and implementing IEPs tailored to each student Collaborating with teachers, families, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive support Monitoring progress, keeping up with documentation and compliance requirements Participating in team meetings and contributing to positive student outcomes across grade levels This contract role for the 26/27 school year provides a chance to expand your expertise while enjoying the support of a skilled multidisciplinary team.
