9658082-92009 Job Description Make a lasting impact supporting young learners in a dynamic educational setting as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist. This contract role focuses on working closely with elementary-aged students to help develop and enrich their communication skills throughout the academic year.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology Possession of, or eligibility for, appropriate licensure in California Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred, but not required Previous experience working with school-aged children, especially at the elementary level, is valued Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills Ability to devise and implement individualized intervention plans
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to identify speech and language delays or disorders in elementary students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) outlining goals and therapeutic strategies for each student Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services, both individually and in group settings Maintain regular communication with families and educational teams regarding student progress Keep detailed and timely documentation of all services provided, assessments, and progress notes Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other professionals to maximize student outcomes Attend relevant school meetings and contribute to a supportive team environment Perks of the
