Job Overview We are seeking dedicated and energetic Therapists, including Occupational Therapy Assistants (OTA), Physical Therapists (PT), Physical Therapist Assistants (PTA), and Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), to join our dynamic rehabilitation team. PTA (PRN) SLP (PRN) Duties Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments of patient needs and goals.
Administer therapeutic interventions such as physiotherapy, speech therapy, or occupational therapy to promote functional recovery. Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment strategies to optimize outcomes in accordance with rehabilitation regulations and best practices. Educate patients and their families on exercises, adaptive techniques, and safety measures to support ongoing recovery at home. Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams—including physicians, nurses, and other therapists—to coordinate comprehensive patient care. Ensure proper manual handling techniques are used during therapy sessions to maintain safety for both patients and staff. Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress, treatment sessions, and clinical notes in compliance with healthcare standards. Qualifications Proven experience working within rehabilitation medicine or related fields such as physiotherapy or speech-language pathology. Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and rehabilitation regulations essential for delivering effective patient care. Certification in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and Basic Life Support (BLS) required; additional certifications in heavy lifting or manual handling are advantageous. Prior experience in skilled nursing facilities or rehabilitation centers is highly preferred; long-term care experience is a plus. Demonstrated ability to work with individuals with disabilities or visual impairments with sensitivity and professionalism. Strong understanding of rehabilitation services management and clinical team leadership skills. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting while maintaining safety standards.
