Requirements:
Required:
Valid California License as a Speech-Language Pathologist or currently completing Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under ASHA supervision requirements. Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology. Minimum two years of experience working with children in a school-based setting (required for SLPA supervision eligibility; CFY candidates welcome — supervision responsibilities may be assigned upon full licensure) Maintain accurate records and documentation. Experience with SEIS & Welligent is preferred. Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student needs Prepare detailed evaluation reports and maintain accurate documentation Provide pull-out and/or push-in speech-language therapy services (individual and group) Develop and implement therapy plans targeting articulation, fluency, pragmatics, and expressive/receptive language Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals and adjust services as needed Participate in IEP meetings, presenting assessment results, progress updates, and recommendations. Stay current with best practices and meet all ethical, legal, and organizational standards. Perform related duties as assigned. The Aptus Group participates in E verify.
