Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding full-time opportunity supporting K-12 students in a vibrant school district near Mad River, CA for the entire 26/27 school year. This contract position is ideal for professionals passionate about making an impact through speech-language services, fostering communication and learning for students of all ages. You'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team on-site, offering expert support and tailored interventions to help students gain confidence and achieve their goals. As part of a diverse caseload, your role will play a critical part in student development and success.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current or eligible California SLP license CCC-SLP preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply Previous experience or strong interest in working in a school setting with K-12 students Solid understanding of IEPs and special education procedures Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
Provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for students with speech, language, voice, or fluency disorders Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with school staff and families Deliver speech-language therapy sessions to students across all grade levels (K-12) Maintain accurate documentation and records of assessments, goals, and progress notes Collaborate with educators and parents to ensure continuity of care and support student outcomes This role presents a chance to work in a dynamic school environment, directly impacting students' communication skills and academic achievement. The position is fully on-site for the 26/27 academic year, providing consistency and connection with students and colleagues alike.
