This contract Speech-Language Pathologist opportunity places you at the heart of supportive school communities, where your expertise is valued and your contribution vital to student achievement. We're seeking a dedicated SLP with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to assess, diagnose, and provide targeted interventions for children with communication challenges. Your role will foster growth, confidence, and lasting progress among diverse learners.
Qualifications and Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA Valid state licensure and credentials for speech pathology in California Previous school-based experience preferred Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) that address each students needs Deliver engaging therapy sessions in individual and group settings Provide consultative support to teachers and staff to enhance classroom communication strategies Document progress and maintain compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process, offering guidance and resources Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the multidisciplinary team Enjoy working in an environment where your skills inspire and empower students, alongside professionals equally passionate about making a difference.
