Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language disorders among students Design and implement tailored treatment plans addressing each student's unique communication goals Lead engaging therapy sessions targeting improvement in speech, language, and related skills Monitor, track, and document progress using meticulous recordkeeping practices Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary professionals for cohesive, student-centered care Communicate regularly with families, providing education and resources for continued success at home
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program Active state licensure or eligibility to obtain state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred Prior experience working with children or school-aged students highly valued Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently as well as harmoniously within a collaborative team To be considered, candidates must hold a current, active license approved by the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology and possess a Master's degree or higher in the discipline.
