Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling role as a Speech Language Pathologist working with elementary students for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract opportunity is ideal for a compassionate clinician ready to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives. The position is structured for two days per week, allowing you to maintain flexibility while advancing your career in a supportive school environment.
Key Qualifications:
ASHA Certification required Active Colorado SLP License CDE credential (Colorado Department of Education) Open to Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and those holding SLP-CCC Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred, but not required Strong collaborative and communication skills, with a genuine passion for empowering students
Role Overview:
Provide direct speech and language therapy services to elementary-aged students Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with state and district requirements Participate in IEP meetings and team conferences as needed Foster an inclusive and supportive classroom environment that celebrates student achievements
