Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role serving preschool-aged students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract position invites you to make a meaningful impact as you support a caseload of 45-55 young learners. Work Monday through Thursday, approximately 30 hours each week, ensuring you have long weekends for personal time. Your expertise will foster growth, communication, and confidence in children during their crucial early-learning years.
Qualifications and Credentials:
Hold a valid CDE license and SLP credentials Certification as SLP-CCC is required Experience working with pediatric and preschool populations is highly valued Familiarity with school-based therapy models Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized care
What You'll Do:
Provide assessment, intervention, and therapy for preschoolers with diverse speech and language needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in alignment with IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student progress Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining compliance with all educational standards Offer consultative support to staff and caregivers, empowering them with practical strategies Participate in team meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary planning This role is your opportunity to make a significant difference in students' lives while maintaining a healthy work-life balance thanks to a four-day workweek.
