Job Description

WSi Healthcare Personnel is seeking a PRN Speech Therapist to provide high-quality speech-language pathology services across partner healthcare facilities in Colorado. In this flexible role, you will perform evaluations, develop and implement individualized treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based therapy for patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. You'll document care, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, educate patients and families, and adapt quickly to varied clinical settings in a supportive, mission-driven organization. Responsibilities Provide PRN speech-language therapy services to patients in healthcare settings across assigned facilities Evaluate patients' speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders using standardized assessments Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and therapy goals based on clinical findings Document evaluations, daily notes, progress reports, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility and regulatory standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and families to coordinate patient-centered care Educate patients, caregivers, and staff on communication and swallowing strategies and home programs Adjust treatment approaches based on patient progress and evidence-based best practices Travel to and adapt quickly within different clinical environments as staffing needs change Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all relevant federal, state, and facility regulations Participate in ongoing professional development and maintain required licensure and certifications Required Skills Speech-language assessment Treatment planning Dysphagia management Cognitive-communication rehab Patient and family education Clinical documentation (EMR) Interdisciplinary collaboration ASHA practice standards HIPAA compliance Time and caseload management
