Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure or eligibility in Connecticut ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or CFY candidates considered Previous experience within a school or pediatric setting is highly valued Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to providing services to diverse populations, including preschoolers and involvement in Birth to Three evaluations as needed

Key Responsibilities:

Manage a manageable caseload of up to 20 preschool students, tailoring interventions to support a range of communication disorders Conduct thorough assessments, including Birth to Three evaluations dependent on referral volume and student needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and related professionals to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Deliver therapy sessions in accordance with IEP goals and district guidelines Maintain accurate records, progress reports, and documentation required by state and district policies Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere that encourages each child's growth and participation This contract offers a consistent, family-friendly weekday schedule, with workdays beginning at 8:30/9:00 am and ending at 3:00/3:30 pm, totaling 30 hours per week.
