Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current SLP or SLPA licensure with

ASHA CCC

credentials. Previous experience working within a school setting, particularly with middle schoolers, is highly desirable. Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education programs (IEPs). Confident in utilizing Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices and supportive technology. Exceptional communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities. Compassionate and student-centered mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct therapy services to a diverse caseload of middle school students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs. Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations for speech, language, and communication disorders. Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, staff, and families to develop effective strategies that enhance student success. Integrate AAC devices into therapy sessions and assist in training staff and families for seamless communication support. Maintain thorough documentation, progress reports, and compliance with all required timelines. Participate actively in IEP meetings, sharing recommendations and insights as a valued team member.
