Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role serving a vibrant middle school student population for a short-term period of 6-8 weeks, with possible extension. This full-time opportunity focuses on providing high-quality speech-language pathology services within a supportive school-based environment near North Haven, CT. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP licensure for the state ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellows considered Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting, especially with middle school ages Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, parents, and staff Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and integrate into a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech and language therapy services to middle school students Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs Collaborate closely with educators, support staff, and families to support student success Conduct screenings, evaluations, and progress monitoring as required Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and student progress Support students' communication goals within classroom and remote learning settings if needed This contract opportunity offers an hourly rate of $107, reflecting the importance and impact of your expertise.
