Full Job Description Responsibilities:

• Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in patients
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address patients' needs
• Provide therapy sessions to improve patients' speech, language, and communication skills
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Educate patients and their families on techniques to enhance communication and support treatment goals
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans

Experience:

• Minimum of [1] year of experience as a Speech Language Pathologist in a hospital or acute care setting
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and critical care practices
• Ability to provide case management and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in conducting comprehensive evaluations and developing evidence-based treatment plans

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
