Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic, supportive environment where your expertise as a Speech Language Pathologist can truly make a difference for young learners. This full-time, contract opportunity focuses on providing high-quality speech and language services to PreK students at an early learning and literacy center. You'll enjoy the support of a fellow full-time SLP as you collaborate and contribute to a positive impact on children's communication and developmental outcomes.
Key Qualifications:
Active professional Speech Language Pathologist license required School-based experience is a strong plus, though not mandatory for consideration Comfortable working onsite with early childhood/preschool age groups Dedicated to fostering a nurturing, communicative classroom experience Prepared to complete district credentialing and onboarding processes promptly
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver purposeful speech and language therapy tailored to individual PreK students' needs Conduct assessments, develop and implement IEPs, and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to ensure holistic student progress Participate in school meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team activities Assist in the transition and development of age-appropriate speech goals
