Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting student communication skills in dynamic school settings near Cape Coral, FL. This position requires Speech Language Pathologists to provide on-site services at one or more local schools, with full-time or part-time schedules available. Assignments span multiple campuses, allowing for a combination of locations to achieve your desired hours. Your role centers on assessing and enhancing the communication abilities of students in varied age groups. Caseload specifics will be tailored to site needs. Youll collaborate with dedicated educational teams, contribute to IEP development, and implement individualized therapy plans. This assignment runs from August 11, 2026, through May 27, 2027.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology required Active Florida Department of Health SLP license and/or valid Florida teaching certification Previous pediatric or school-based SLP experience is highly valued Strong problem-solving and communication skills Ability to manage diverse caseloads and adapt to different school environments
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and direct therapy for students with communication disorders Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in conjunction with multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate, timely documentation and progress notes Engage families and educators to maximize student outcomes Participate in school meetings and professional development as needed
Additional Details:
On-site positions only (no remote/teletherapy/Voco options) Multiple school assignments, with flexibility to create a full-time or part-time workload Fingerprinting and credentialing through the AHCA Clearinghouse required (facilitated for candidates with existing clearances) This is a unique chance to impact the lives of students within a supportive educational framework.
