Key Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and current CCC-SLP certification Valid state license to practice as an SLP in a school setting Previous experience with school-age populations, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder Proven ability to design and implement comprehensive treatment plans Strong organizational, communication, and supervisory skills, especially in mentoring SLPA staff
Core Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language services to a caseload of 15-20 students, including both general education and students on the autism spectrum Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs Supervise and support Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), ensuring high-quality intervention delivery and professional development Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary professionals to support student progress and inclusion Maintain accurate documentation of services and comply with all relevant regulations and policies Engage in ongoing professional growth and development opportunities within the school community This academic-year contract, starting as soon as possible and extending through June 9, 2027, offers the rewarding chance to influence student outcomes in a truly supportive environment.
