Overview We are seeking a passionate and energetic School Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic educational team. In this role, you will provide essential speech and language therapy services to students across various age groups, supporting their communication development and academic achievement. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to identify students' communication needs. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans aligned with each student's goals. Deliver engaging therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques tailored for pediatric populations. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress and integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities. Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment progress, and session notes within electronic health record (EHR) systems. Educate families on speech development milestones and provide guidance for home-based activities. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to coordinate care for students with disabilities or speech impairments. Qualifications Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Experience working with children in educational or clinical settings, especially in pediatrics or early intervention programs. Strong knowledge of speech-language pathology principles, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology. Proven ability to develop and implement effective speech therapy plans for diverse needs. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems and documentation requirements. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or speech impairments across various age groups. Telehealth experience is preferred, along with the ability to adapt therapy techniques for virtual delivery.
