This an in office position for afternoons, no driving necessary. We offer documentation time and afterhours pay as well as flexible rates. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team, committed to enhancing communication skills and improving quality of life for individuals across diverse age groups. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through innovative therapy techniques. Your expertise will help clients overcome communication challenges, foster independence, and achieve their personal goals. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for pediatric and adult patients, including early intervention evaluations for children. Develop individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's needs, utilizing evidence-based practices. Implement therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language development, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing functions. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive treatment strategies. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to document patient progress accurately and efficiently. Provide telehealth therapy sessions when necessary, ensuring continuity of care through virtual platforms. Educate patients and families about speech-language disorders, treatment goals, and home practice strategies to maximize progress. Requirements Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). Proven experience working with children in pediatric settings such as schools or early intervention programs. Strong knowledge of speech therapy techniques, language therapy strategies, anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology related to speech and swallowing disorders. Experience conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations for individuals with disabilities or speech impairments. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and delivering remote therapy sessions effectively. Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams including educators, healthcare providers, and families. Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems for documentation purposes. Working experience with patients across the lifespan—including geriatric populations—focusing on patient care and rehabilitation goals.
