Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity serving middle school students as a Speech Language Pathologist in the Oviedo, FL area. This full-time, on-site role centers around supporting grades 6 through 8 at a single campus, providing critical services to help students achieve their communication goals for the academic year. The position is available for an immediate start and extends through late May. Qualifications:
Valid Florida State Speech-Language Pathology License SLP-CCC certification through ASHA required Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Science Disorders, or related discipline Prior school-based SLP experience, particularly with middle school students Successful completion of background check, fingerprinting, and district credentialing Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech and language services to students in grades 6-8 Evaluate, diagnose, and develop treatment plans tailored to individual student needs Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families Maintain accurate, timely records and complete required documentation Participate in IEP meetings and share progress updates Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment for diverse learners Enjoy meaningful workdays as you help middle schoolers overcome barriers and succeed.
