Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful position where you can make a daily impact supporting students' communication and language development through a full-time contract opportunity. Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for Florida Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred, but new graduates with appropriate credentials are encouraged to apply Strong interpersonal skills, patience, and an enthusiasm for working with children Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Programs) and effective treatment plans
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for students across various grade levels Design tailored therapy sessions to address speech, language, voice, fluency, and social communication needs Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational staff to support student progress and inclusion Maintain thorough records, including evaluation results, session notes, and progress data Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input for student plans Deliver both individual and group therapy in accordance with students' IEPs This role offers a welcoming and collaborative environment where your expertise will directly contribute to children's academic and social success.
