Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role supporting early learners as a Speech Language Pathologist at a PreK-focused learning center near The Villages, FL. This is a contract position requiring on-site presence, with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week. Immediate interviews are being conducted for candidates able to start as soon as possible and continue through late May 2027. Responsibilities will include delivering speech and language services within a PreK environment, collaborating with another SLP for support, and developing intervention strategies to help children meet their communication goals. You will work closely with educators, families, and related service professionals to ensure each child's individual needs are addressed. The specific caseload is to be determined, but you can count on support from a fellow full-time SLP already on staff.
Desired Qualifications:
Holds a valid Speech Language Pathologist license. Prefers candidates with experience in school settings, though all strong applicants will be considered. Capable of adapting strategies to suit a variety of early learners. Strong interpersonal skills for working with young students, families, and faculty. Ready and willing to complete a two-part district credentialing process prior to starting.
