Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact by supporting PreK students as a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a contracted, on-site role. This opportunity focuses exclusively on early learners, providing direct, in-person speech and language therapy services in a school setting conveniently located near Zolfo Springs, FL. With a flexible schedule of up to 25 hours per week, you'll be able to dedicate your expertise to young children at a crucial stage in their development.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state license to practice as an SLP in Florida Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desirable Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to adapt therapy techniques to the unique needs of PreK children Reliable availability for in-person sessions up to 25 hours weekly
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and diagnoses for PreK students Develop and implement customized treatment plans Provide direct, hands-on speech and language therapy tailored to young learners Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure consistent support Participate in IEP meetings as needed and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions This contract position offers a fulfilling opportunity for speech professionals who are passionate about early intervention and keen to work in an engaging, supportive school environment.
