Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding role as a full-time, on-site Speech-Language Pathologist serving elementary school students and making a vital impact on young learners' development. This contract position is based at a dedicated elementary school near Acworth, GA, where you'll collaborate closely with educators and families to deliver engaging, student-centered speech and language services.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current or eligible Georgia SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Experience in elementary school settings preferred Strong knowledge of IEP process and compliance Outstanding communication and organizational skills Adaptable, positive, and team-oriented approach
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in individual and group settings Develop, implement, and monitor IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Conduct comprehensive speech-language assessments Maintain thorough, timely documentation and progress notes Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic and social success Utilize a variety of evidence-based interventions tailored to the individual needs of each student Contribute actively to IEP meetings, student support teams, and parent conferences
