Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference for K-5 students by providing speech-language therapy in a dynamic school-based setting. This contract opportunity allows you to work alongside dedicated professionals who are passionate about supporting children with a range of communication needs, especially in ASD and Severe/Profound classrooms. With full-time hours available through the end of the school year and into 2025-2026—and part-time options considered—you'll have a flexible role that rewards your expertise and care.
Qualifications:
Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Georgia. Current Georgia Educator Certificate. Open to Clinical Fellows in need of their CFY. School-based experience preferred; background with ASD or Severe/Profound classroom caseloads is highly valued. Reliable transportation for onsite services. Ability to commit to an onsite-only position.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group speech therapy for elementary students requiring support in communication and language development. Collaborate closely with teachers and multidisciplinary teams in developing and implementing IEPs. Track and report student progress, contributing to progress monitoring and IEP documentation. Participate in IEP meetings, sharing insights and recommendations for student support. Assist with necessary Medicaid billing requirements for eligible students.
