Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting schools near Gainesville, GA, as an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with your CCCs. This rewarding role allows you to make a meaningful impact in students' lives, working collaboratively in an educational setting and helping learners reach their communication potential.
Qualifications and Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required Active Georgia SLP license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous pediatric or school-based experience preferred Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to manage time effectively and contribute within a team environment
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments, screenings, and evaluations of students' speech, language, and communication abilities Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Provide direct and consultative speech-language therapy services to students, both one-on-one and in group settings Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid billing records as required Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and district trainings Engage with families and teachers to support communication goals and overall academic success
