Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving students in a single school building near Sardis, GA. This full-time position runs from ASAP until May 27th, supporting a diverse K-12 population. You'll provide essential speech-language services to 22 speech-only students and 25 secondary students within a collaborative educational environment.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current SLP licensure in Georgia Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required Experience working in school-based settings preferred Comfortable managing a caseload spanning kindergarten through 12th grade Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and provide direct therapy for a speech-only caseload and secondary students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific, measurable speech-language goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and success Maintain thorough and compliant documentation in accordance with school policies and regulations Contribute to student evaluations, eligibility meetings, and parent conferences as needed Offer guidance and strategies to help educators include speech and language supports in the classroom This is your chance to make a significant impact throughout the remainder of the school year while working alongside dedicated educational professionals.
