Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist at an elementary school near Smyrna, GA. This is an excellent contract opportunity for professionals who thrive in supportive school settings and are committed to fostering positive communication development in young students. Work onsite and collaborate closely with educators, families, and fellow specialists to promote inclusive learning and help students reach their fullest potential. In this role, you'll use your expertise as an SLP to provide high-quality services while building strong relationships within a vibrant school community. Both Clinical Fellows (CFY) and those with CCC credentials are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state SLP license or eligibility to obtain one Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Passion for working with elementary-aged students and diverse populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for elementary school students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans/interventions Deliver direct therapy services in both individual and group settings Collaborate with teachers, parents, and IEP teams to support student goals Monitor progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Provide education and resources to staff and families regarding speech-language development This is your chance to bring your dedication and energy to a rewarding onsite role with a caring elementary school community.
