Job Description
A school district in the Stockbridge, Georgia area is seeking dedicated Speech Language Pathologists to join its team. Qualifications:
Georgia Speech Language Pathologist license and GaPSC credentials Previous school-based special education experience preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills Positive professional references from the past two years
Position Details:
Full-time position (35 - 37.5 hours per week) School-based contract opportunity Supporting Elementary trough High School students (caseloads will vary) Collaborative special education and related services teams
Responsibilities:
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with disabilities Provide specialized instruction in accordance with student goals and state standards Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning needs Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families Participate in EP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment Maintain compliance with state and federal special education regulations
