Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license valid for practice in Georgia Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows will be considered Previous experience in a school environment is highly desirable Strong knowledge of IEP process and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language screenings, evaluations, and assessments in accordance with federal and state guidelines Develop and implement personalized treatment plans and therapy interventions for students Document services and progress, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all requirements Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, special education staff, and administrators to support student success Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert guidance and recommendations Consult with educators and families on ways to support communication development inside and outside the classroom This contract assignment is located near Buford, GA, providing a chance to positively impact your community and support students' growth.
