Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract role is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services with supervisory experience. This position supports elementary and middle school-aged students through remote delivery methods, ensuring accessibility and continuity of care within an educational setting.
Key responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language evaluations and providing individualized therapy remotely Supervising and mentoring SLPs or assistants to maintain high standards of practice Collaborating with educators and families to support students' communication goals Utilizing telepractice platforms effectively to engage students in a virtual environment Maintaining accurate documentation and reporting in compliance with school policies Preferred qualifications and experience: Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist with a valid state license Demonstrated experience delivering telespeech in K-8 educational environments Proven supervisory skills in managing clinical staff or support personnel Strong understanding of speech and language development in children Ability to use telepractice technology fluently and troubleshoot common issues Excellent communication and organizational abilities This remote position offers the opportunity to impact student communication skills across multiple grade levels from a flexible location.
