In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders across diverse populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics. Duties Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations for patients of all ages, including early intervention and school-aged children. Develop and implement individualized speech-language therapy plans tailored to each patient's unique needs. Provide direct therapy sessions using evidence-based techniques to improve speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing functions. Collaborate closely with families, caregivers, educators, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive treatment approaches. Utilize Electronic Medical Records (EMR) or Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems to document assessments, progress notes, and treatment outcomes accurately. Educate patients and families on strategies to support communication development at home or in educational settings. Stay current with medical terminology, physiology, anatomy knowledge, and best practices in speech-language pathology to deliver high-quality care. Skills Proven experience working with pediatric populations, including early intervention and school-based settings. Strong background in speech therapy techniques for individuals with speech impairments or disabilities. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology related to speech production and swallowing functions. Skilled in conducting comprehensive assessments and developing effective therapy plans. Experience working with individuals with diverse needs, including those with disabilities or communication challenges across age groups. Familiarity with telehealth therapy platforms and delivering remote services effectively. Ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care outcomes. Pay:
$42.39 - $51.05 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
