Qualifications:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license valid in Iowa (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in school settings preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Dedication to facilitating positive outcomes for students
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech and language therapy to students per Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student progress Consult and offer strategies for classroom accommodations and interventions Participate in IEP meetings, contributing as a valuable member of the educational team
