Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a significant impact in the lives of middle and high school students by providing speech-language therapy services on a flexible, contract basis. This opportunity is ideal for passionate Speech-Language Pathologists who hold a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) and are interested in a focused, student-centered role near the Desmet, ID area. As a key contributor, you'll support approximately 10 students, delivering primarily direct therapy services. Enjoy the advantages of a part-time schedule—just one day per week (excluding Wednesdays and Fridays), with each day involving about 8 hours. This assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through early June, offering the perfect chance to balance professional growth with personal commitments.

Qualifications & Experience:

Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Experience with middle and/or high school populations preferred Ability to design and implement therapy sessions tailored to individual student needs Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Provide direct speech-language therapy to a caseload of around 10 students Develop and carry out individualized treatment plans, progress monitoring, and documentation Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student success Ensure timely and accurate paperwork and compliance with special education guidelines
