Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting middle and high school students as a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) near Harrison, ID. In this flexible, part-time role, you'll dedicate one full day each week (excluding Wednesdays and Fridays) to providing essential speech-language services to a manageable caseload of roughly 10 students. Your focus will be on direct therapy that empowers each student to communicate more confidently and participate fully in their educational experience.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in the state required Experience with school-aged populations, particularly MS/HS students Strong communication and documentation abilities Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students according to their IEP goals Assess, diagnose, and document progress on a regular basis Develop and implement individualized plans to support student communication and language needs Consult with educators and caregivers, sharing insights and strategies for ongoing growth Maintain accurate records and comply with all required reporting guidelines Participate in IEP meetings as needed This assignment begins as soon as possible and continues through early June.
