9684916-60004 Job Description Make a difference in the lives of young learners by using your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a supportive and engaging educational environment. This contract role is ideal for someone who wants to work part-time and focus on a PreK - Kindergarten caseload. Enjoy working collaboratively with educators and families while having a positive impact on students in their early years.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or eligibility Experience assessing and treating speech, language, and communication disorders in children, ideally in a school setting Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) Strong communication and organizational skills Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy services to PreK and Kindergarten students Conduct assessments, develop goals, and track progress Collaborate with teachers, aides, and parents to support student growth and generalization of skills Create and maintain detailed records and progress notes, in compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams Utilize creative approaches to keep therapy sessions fun and motivating for young children
Position Details & Perks:
Contract position with part-time hours: 2 to 2.5 days per week, from 8:30am to 3:30pm Opportunity to manage a focused caseload and create meaningful relationships with students and staff Support from a dedicated network of professionals within the educational system If youre passionate about helping children develop essential communication skills and want a rewarding, flexible role, this position is your next career step.
