Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Experience a rewarding contract opportunity supporting young learners as a Speech-Language Pathologist working with a Pre K caseload from October through March. This full-time role is designed for those who are passionate about helping early childhood students develop their communication skills in a school-based setting near Arlington Heights, IL.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active state licensure as an SLP Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong understanding of speech, language, and communication development in early childhood Excellent communication and collaborative skills with parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to evidence-based practice and individualized intervention planning

Responsibilities:

Provide speech, language, and communication therapy for Pre K students Assess, diagnose, and develop treatment plans for students with a variety of communication disorders Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate speech and language goals into the classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student progress reviews Educate school staff and caregivers about strategies to support communication development You'll play a vital role in nurturing foundational language skills for young learners, contributing to their academic and social success.
