9555349-60440 Job Description An exciting opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to cover a maternity leave in an engaging elementary school environment. This contract position is based near Bolingbrook, IL, serving 2nd through 5th grade students. The assignment runs from October 19, 2026, through January 11, 2027, providing critical support to students communication and language development during this period. This role manages a caseload of approximately 28-30 students, offering a manageable group size to provide effective, individualized therapy. The consistent weekday schedule runs from 8:00 am to 3:15 pm, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, totaling 6.75 hours daily and 33.75 hours per week.

Desired Qualifications:

Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) Valid state licensure (or eligibility) for school-based practice Previous experience working with elementary-aged students is strongly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families Ability to develop appropriate, individualized therapy plans and maintain documentation
