Location:
In-person school-based placements across Illinois, with opportunities based on district needs and therapist location A note about Braxy Braxy Speech Therapy is a small, clinician-owned practice — not a large staffing agency or faceless recruiting company. Braxy was founded and is led by Bradi O'Rourke, a practicing ASHA-certified Speech-Language Pathologist who understands the realities of school-based therapy because she has lived them. When you work with Braxy, you work directly with a fellow clinician. We advocate for strong rate and placement fit, help coordinate contracts, onboarding, and billing, and provide support without the corporate agency feel. You get the structure and organization of an agency with the heart, advocacy, and understanding of an SLP-owned practice. About the role Braxy Speech Therapy is seeking dedicated Speech-Language Pathologists to provide school-based speech and language services to students in Illinois. This posting is for an in-person 1099 school-based position near the listed location, but we encourage SLPs throughout Illinois to apply as we have positions all across Illinois. We have full-time, part-time, and short-term opportunities available across the state. We are also open to speaking with SLPs in their clinical fellowship year, depending on district needs and supervision fit. As a school-based SLP, you will support students with speech, language, communication, and educational needs so they can participate more fully in the classroom and school environment.
