Special education students across the K-5th grade setting
Compensation:
$60,000-$72,000 annually About the Role This SLP position was just opened to provide additional support to the school's existing speech-language team . You will work with special education students in grades K-5 and help alleviate caseloads for the current SLPs. The district is looking for a collaborative clinician who can jump into a school environment, build strong relationships with students and staff, and provide high-quality speech and language services. Responsibilities Provide direct speech and language therapy to students in grades K-5 Support students receiving special education services based on their individual needs and IEP goals Help alleviate caseload demands for the current SLP team Conduct assessments and contribute to evaluation processes as appropriate Develop and implement individualized speech and language goals Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and related service providers Monitor and document student progress Maintain accurate and timely service documentation Collaborate with the existing SLP team to ensure consistency of services and continuity of care Communicate effectively with families and school staff regarding student progress and needs Qualifications Illinois IDFPR Speech-Language Pathology License Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with appropriate SLP endorsement Strong communication and collaboration skills Experience working with elementary-aged students is preferred Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team Passion for supporting students with diverse communication needs Compensation & Benefits $60,000-$72,000 annual salary Full-time, consistent school-year schedule 37.5 hours per week Dedicated support from the AnthroMed clinical support team Professional development and clinical support Collaborative school-based environment 401k with matching, PTO, free health insurance with dental and vision Why Join AnthroMed Education?
