Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a dynamic opportunity delivering speech-language services in an Early Learning Center setting! This full-time, contract assignment offers you the chance to make a meaningful difference with PreK and Kindergarten students, providing support that helps build crucial early communication skills. As a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP, SLP-CCC), you'll use your expertise to work with young learners in an engaging, inclusive environment. The majority of your services will be "push-in," fostering connection and collaboration within the classroom setting.
What you bring:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC preferred) Experience or enthusiasm for working with early childhood populations, especially PreK and Kindergarten Strong collaboration skills to partner with teachers, support staff, and families Solid understanding of early language development and effective intervention strategies Commitment to fostering a welcoming, inclusive learning environment Your key responsibilities: Deliver speech-language therapy primarily through push-in classroom services Support early learners' communication, language, and social development Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Monitor and document student progress, adapting interventions as needed Consult with educators and families to support student outcomes in and out of the classroom Contribute to a positive, engaging school culture for all students Enjoy the rewards of a role where your skills are truly valued!
