Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role providing speech-language pathology expertise to early learners for the full school year. This position centers on supporting PreK and Kindergarten students within an Early Learning Center through mostly push-in services, fostering collaboration and real-time intervention in the classroom environment. Candidates with
SLP - CCC
credentials will thrive in a setting dedicated to nurturing communication development at a critical stage. What you'll bring: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current
SLP - CCC
certification Valid state SLP license (or ability to obtain) Experience working with early childhood or elementary-age children preferred Strong interpersonal skills for collaborative, classroom-based services Ability to design and implement evidence-based interventions for young learners What you'll do: Deliver speech-language therapy primarily through push-in services within PreK and Kindergarten settings, promoting communication and social interaction skills in a natural classroom context Conduct screenings, comprehensive assessments, and ongoing progress monitoring to inform tailored intervention plans Partner with teachers, specialists, and families to support student goals and provide strategies for language development Maintain thorough documentation in accordance with state and district guidelines Advocate for students' needs and participate in IEP meetings as required This is a full-time opportunity for the entirety of the school year, offering a consistent schedule and the chance to make a meaningful impact on early learners' growth.
