School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a difference in the lives of young learners while expanding your career as a school-based Speech-Language Pathologist! This contract position serves students in grades K-4 and offers a collaborative, supportive environment for the 2026-2027 school year. What you'll do: Manage a diverse caseload of 68 students, including teacher record/case management for 27 students Provide targeted therapy and intervention in a dedicated speech area Develop and implement IEPs, monitor progress, and maintain thorough documentation Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to maximize student success Work closely with an on-site SLPA and a network of 6 SLPs across the district for ongoing support Address mild to moderate speech and language needs, tailoring strategies to each child Stay current with best practices and compliance requirements for school-based therapy Participate in school and district meetings as needed
Requirements & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid state licensure/certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist Previous experience in a school setting or working with K-4 students is preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organization skills Commitment to supporting children with mild to moderate needs Comfortable using technology for documentation and communication : Contract role covering the 2026-2027 school year Serving students in grades K-4 Dedicated speech therapy room Supported by an SLPA and a larger SLP team Bell schedule: 7:30am-3:00pm, 37.5 hours/week Become an integral part of a caring, professional community devoted to student success. to bring your skills and passion to a rewarding setting where your expertise is truly valued!
